I haven't been on here in a while, and for good reason. Real life has gotten in the way quite a bit. But my only connection to current events, pop culture-related or otherwise, has been Tumblr for quite a bit. I found out about a certain law known as NDAA. You do NOT want this law to get passed. I beg each and every one of you, my watchers who may or may not be Americans, to please look at this law and tell me it doesn't scare you. Because it scares the crap out of me.

Please, look at this petition. Sign it if you're able. Call your senators and your representatives. Tell them you don't want America, the country that used to be one of the most progressive and accepting countries around, to become a police state.
